I don't regularly participate in this meme and therefore I'm a little bit late today but I just could not resist this topic! The first of these was my favorite read of 2011...Can't wait for the sequel. The next six are also sequels that I am dying to read. The second and third to the last are firsts in series' that I hear are amazing. And the last is an author that I've heard so much about--I just had to add him to my TBR!
1. The Twelve - Justin Cronin
2. Pandemonium - Lauren Oliver
3. A Million Suns - Beth Revis
4. Shadow of Night - Deborah Harkness
5. Torrent - Lisa T Bergren
6. Brisingr - Christopher Paolini
7. Fever - Lauren Destefano
8. Divergent - Veronica Roth
9. Outlander – Diana Gabaldon
10. The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman

YAY!! Your list got me all crazy excited to read!!!...Wait until you read Torrent!!! Its so good...and Divergent...ahhhh!! And I cant wait to read The Passage and Fever....:D
ReplyDeleteGreat Picks Melissa!
You haven't read Outlander?! Hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I still have to read The Passage, Cascade, and A Discovery of Witches. They all look so good and I can't wait to read them! By waiting to read these at least I won't have to wait long to read the sequels.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list. The Graveyard Book almost made mine--almost; it had a lot of competition, and Neil Gaiman books are more likely to spook me out than cheer me up, but I am looking forward to reading it!
Your list is awesome! The Graveyard Book and Outlander are so good! And I totally forgot about the sequel to A Discovery of Witches. I can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say that Outlander has been sitting on my bookcase unread since the summer. I would love to be able to get to it, one of these days!

ReplyDeleteI spy with my little eye OUTLANDER, and all I have to say is that you must get to reading that book. It's 800+ pages of complete and utter awesomeness!! You will not regret it!

Divergent is a great book! I've read Fever and really enjoyed it, so I hope you get to read it soon!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday
Divergent was my favorite YA book last year!
ReplyDeleteOooooooooooo A Million Suns!
ReplyDeleteI tried Outlander and just couldn't get into it.
Good luck! :)
So many great books -- and such diversity! Outlander is awesome, so is The Graveyard Book. I just read A Million Suns last week and loved it ... same with Divergent!
ReplyDeleteAwesome choices! Divergent is amazing and I'm excited to read Pandemonium one day soon too.
ReplyDeleteCan I just say I adore your list? LOL, it's almost perfect with awesome-books-bex-wants-to-read. ;) The exception being number 4 and 6, mainly because I'm not very familiar with either, but I'm sure they're awesome too! Great list:)
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to know what you think of Outlander. It's good but...um, well let me know what you think! I hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteTHE TWELVE!!!!!! YES!!! Can't wait for that one to come out this year - Justin Cronin freakin' roooocks :D
ReplyDeleteI have Divergent and really need to get reading that one - hopefully soon! The Graveyard Boy was really cool, I liked it a lot - but who couldn't, it's Neil Gaiman! :D
I still need to read Delirium before I can move to Pandemonium though - yeah I'm a little behind.. *whistles* .. :D
I hope you get the time to read them all SOON and that they're as good as you're hoping :)
