Added to the Bookshelf - 12/30/12 ( Christmas/Birthday Edition )





Sharing the week's bookish news and the books & bookish goodies that I've bought, borrowed, won, or been gifted and have added to my bookshelves over the past week!

Notes From Melissa:

What a busy week!  I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas:)  We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas visiting both sides of the family. And then the 26th was my Birthday...sadly I had to work...but Hubby had some nice surprises waiting for me when I got home...one of which was on My Letter to Santa Wish List and which you will see below:)  

The day ended on a sour note however as my brother-in-law ended up being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery :(   Luckily he is doing better now and is recuperating at home.  

Suffice it to say that things were slow here on the blog...with everything going on I took a semi-blogging break to re-charge my batteries and spend time with my family.

I wish everyone a safe and happy New Year filled with much joy!

        Oooo, you have some awesome things going on! And such great books! A Millions Suns is amazing, and the hardcover is oh so pretty. I am soooo mad that they changed the covers, at the END of the series. Anyway. I love that necklace! Hope you enjoy your books :)

          I Love the necklace! It's so pretty and so true! I also had to buy a hardcover of Shiver! I loved that book so much, as well as Across The Universe, I really need to read A Million Suns soon! I hope it's just as good as the first one. Hush Hush was also pretty fun.

        I love the cover of Some Quiet Place! And I've heard such great things about the Across the Universe books. It's definitely a series I want to be able to start reading soon!

        Shiver and A Million Suns are both books I want to read.

        I love that necklace, it's adorable. I don't know if that's where you got it, but I am obsessed with looking through Etsy's bookish jewelry. I never buy any, but maybe some day.

        Some Quiet Place looks so good! Not only is the cover beautiful, but it sounds fantastic too. I hope you enjoy it :)
