City slicker Ami Jordan was just dumped by her back-stabbing boyfriend, has no job prospects, and can't find a decent cup of coffee in the entire state of Vermont. The last thing she needs is a sexy, bearded lumberjack complicating her life. Even if he’s smart, talented, and has the hottest ass she’s ever seen.
Tree house builder, environmental champion, and Bulldog owner Marcus Anderson has no patience for flatlanders with an attitude. But when landscape designer Ami Jordan shows up at his log cabin, he suddenly develops a hankering for a high-maintenance city gal. Now his house looks like a jungle, his recycling is in disarray, and his libido's on fire.
He's a lumberjack in love.
Ami Jordan pulled her mini SUV onto the dirt road and bounced around like a rodeo rider.
Lumberjack in Love is my second foray into the mind of author Penny Watson and I must confess that I love it in there! Kudos to Penny for giving me another super fun read that's just perfect for a cold and dreary December evening.
This book is the perfect mix of "giggle a minute" witty banter, sweet romance, and just the right amount of steam to keep you warm on a chilly night. The writing is smooth and flows perfectly. The pacing is just fast enough to keep the reader's interest...but slow enough to have time to build up the smoldering romance. I love small town settings, especially in New England and this one is absolutely perfect. Our environment loving lumberjack fits right in perfectly and soon so does Ami! Our main characetrs are both interesting personalities (especially when mixed together) and are incredibly easy to like. And I challenge any of you not to "fall" for Marcus!
If you are looking for a quick, fun and completely engaging romantic read this winter, look no further than Lumberjack in Love. Penny Watson is hilarious and tastefully steamy. You won't be disappointed!

I really liked this one!!

Ha ha! This book cracks me up every time I see it. I am glad to see that it got a new cover but I had so much fun with the old one. I could spend hours thinking up captions for the old cover. I really do want to read this one. I should just email the author and have her come and do a guest post on the cover.
