Sharing the week's bookish news and the books & bookish goodies that I've bought, borrowed, won, or been gifted and have added to my bookshelves over the past week!
(Inspired by Mailbox Monday, IMM, Clock Rewinders and the like)
Notes From Melissa:
I can't believe this is the last Sunday in May...where in the world has the time gone? I hope that everyone (at least here in the US) is having an enjoyable three day weekend and is keeping in mind the true meaning of Memorial Day.
In bookish news...I've decided to join the Under the Dome Summer Readalong.
I have no idea where I will find the time to read this in addition to my other books (things have gotten a bit better at work but I still have so much less free time then I used to) but I am determined to finish before I watch the TV mini-series! If you'd like to join...go check out the sign up post at Coffee and a Book Chick for more details!

Wow Under The Dome is crazy big! I keep seeing people saying they're doing that readalong. Is it any good? Enjoy all your books! My STS
ReplyDeleteI so want to be part of the Under the Dome readalong. I already have it on my Nook and I'm definitely going to watch the mini-series, but I don't think I'll have a chance to read it first. Too many reviews and blog tours!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Lots of lovelies this week! I have Age of Miracles waiting for me at the library, could have picked it up on Friday but will pop in tomorrow I think.
ReplyDeleteI really like Stephen King, but damn, most of this books are huuuuge. I'm sometimes scared to get started :p The compound looks awesome! Happy reading.

My Showcase Sunday if you'd like a look
I am looking forward to reading Shadowlark. I've got to the point where every new Stephen King perks my interest until I see how bloody long they are. I should go back and read some of his oldies instead.
ReplyDeleteJust grabbed Chasing Beautiful, thanks! Are you enjoying Ten Tiny Breaths? I reviewed it recently.. thought it was great. Happy reading (and listening)!

I really like that Barbara Bretton series, but I haven't been able to find them all. I may have to give in and buy them, but the budget doesn't stretch that far at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI've been eying the third Fairwick Chronicle book, because I've heard such good things about the series. But I suppose I really ought to read #1 and #2 first. The cover is simply gorgeous, though!
I read Requiem recently, and really, really enjoyed it. I know there have been some negative reviews of it, but it was easily my favorite of the trilogy.
ReplyDeleteI picked up The Angel Stone too. Gorgeous cover!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to start Angel Stone, and yum look at all those new books. I read Under the Dome years ago, and will be watching the summer program. Enjoy it!
