So heavens knows where I will find the time...but I've decided to join a readalong this summer for Stephen King's Under the Dome. I have previously attempted to read King when I was in my late teens/early twenties and couldn't get used to his voice. I've been thinking about giving him another shot lately and when I saw the previews for the new CBS mini-series, I knew this was the time. Then I happened upon a post about a readalong and thought: How perfect!
I'll update my progress here in this post which will be linked to the button in my sidebar. I hope to read this a little every night in between my other regular reads and DVR the mini-series to watch when I've finished!

Yay! So glad you joined! I've been waiting so long to read it; I know that reading it as a group will definitely help motivate me to get through it. So many pages :O

ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so much fun :) I cannot wait to read everyone's thoughts on it. For me, it's so refreshing to kick the summer off with Stephen King, and he's pulled me right in already!
